|This amazing safari takes you through three major wildlife and birdlife destinations; Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalo wallow in the swamps and Columbus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lake Naivasha's large hippo population sleeps the day out in the shallows. Lake Naivasha is an ideal place for boating and horse riding activities. This is an excellent way to see plenty of birdlife and hippos up close. Hells Gate National Park is the only park in Kenya where activities like Cycling and walking safaris are allowed inside a gazzeted national park. If you would like to get a bit active then this is your perfect package. A few kilometres away there lies Lake Nakuru which is regarded as Bird Watchers Paradise, The park is famous for its high population of greater and lesser flamingoes. The safari proceeds to Lake Bogoria Reserve popularly known for the bubbling hot springs and steaming geysers. Admire the pink and white swathes of flamingos on the soda lake. The reserve also plays host to the greater shy kudu, an antelope with spiraling horns as well as impalas, grant gazelles, cheetahs and water bucks.||
Pick up from Hotel/designation area as you depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Lake Naivasha via the scenic Great Rift Valley, a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point to view the floor of the Rift Valley from the escarpment, Take a visit to Hell’s Gate National Park which lies to the south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya; the landscape is impressive and can be explored on foot. The entrance to the gorge is marked by Fischer's Tower, a 25mtr tall volcanic pinnacle. The Park which is mainly comprised of savannah ecosystem habours a wide variety of wildlife. Some of the frequently observed animal species include lions, leopards, and cheetahs. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, augur buzzard, and swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle. Day 2: LAKE NAIVASHA
After morning breakfast, take a visit to Lake Naivasha, This is the largest freshwater lake along the Kenyan section of the Rift valley. Because it is the nearest lake to Nairobi it attracts many residents as well as tourists. Fishing here is good but its main attraction is the bird life, best observed by taking a boat trip to the wildlife sanctuary on Crescent Island. Dinner and overnight at the lodge: FB
Day 3: LAKE NAKURU.
After breakfast, Depart to Lake Nakuru National park and have a game drive before lunch, This park is popularly regarded as the "Bird Watchers Paradise”. The park is famous for its high population of greater and lesser flamingoes and it was first gazzetted in 1960 as a bird’s sanctuary, before it was upgraded to a full National park in 1968. Apart from great numbers of birds the Park is also home to plain game animals and also with luck one can set eye on the rare White rhinoceros, or the Rothschild giraffe. Day 4: LAKE NAKURU – LAKE BOGORIA
Morning breakfast, later have an enroute game drive as you depart to Lake Bogoria. After a having your packed lunch, you proceed for an afternoon game drive. The Reserve popularly known for spectacular attractions ranging from Lake Bogoria”s hot springs, cultural villages of the pokot in loruk, Njemps of the Island camp, Turkana of Marigat, to the Aloe vera plantations, the rich bird sanctuaries and the famous perkerra irrigation scheme. Boat riding can be organised. The reserve also plays host to the greater shy kudu, an antelope with spiralling horns as well as impalas, grant gazelles, cheetahs and water bucks. Day 5: NAKURU - NAIROBI.
After morning Breakfast later depart to Nairobi and dropped at the airport for your flight back home.
