11 Days 10 Nights wildlife and Beach Safari

After spending many hours on the roads and dusty parks, nothing is more fascinating and relaxing than washing off the safari dust in the Ocean waters and lazily walks on Kenya’s white sand beaches. You dip yourself in the pool to cool the high temperatures and the ocean breeze will dry it off.

DAY 1: Nairobi – Aberdares National Park
You depart your Nairobi Hotel after breakfast and drive to the Kenya central area, through the rich farming areas arriving at the town of Nyeri for lunch at the Aberdares Hotel, the base hotel for the Ark Lodge. After lunch transfer to the Ark in the Aberdares in the lodges own vehicle with overnight bags (main luggage is stored at the base hotel for collection the following day). The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy excellent views of animals visiting the waterhole from the observation platforms of the lodge such as the rhinos, elephants, bushbucks, buffalos and water bucks among others. Day 2: Aberdares National Park- Lake Nakuru National Park
On this day after breakfast you shall be transferred back to the base hotel where you shall connect with your driver guides and pick up your luggage. We travel down to the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park which is an ornithological paradise arriving at the Lodge in time for lunch after check in. Relax before proceeding for an exciting game drive in the Park. Besides the pink flamingos numbering 1.5 million that the lake is famous for, there are approximate 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. In addition, the wildlife to be found in the Park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, Black and white Rhino, Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and many species of plains game. It is home to the Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary. In the evening drive back to the Lodge for Dinner and relax for the rest of evening at leisure. Dinner & Overnight at selected Lodge/Camp

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park- Masai Mara
On this day we part Lake Nakuru through Mai Mahiu and the Masai town of Narok into Masai Mara Game Reserve (350kms).This enormous Reserve actually part of the vast Serengeti plains is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration which has been dubbed the 8th Wonder of the World. It is the true home of the big five-Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape Buffalo. Upon arrival and check in, lunch will follow. Relax before proceeding for an exciting evening game drive to explore the vast Mara as the Masai herders drive their cattle home through the plains where they co -exist with the wildlife. Drive back to the Lodge at 1800hrs and freshen up for dinner. After dinner you relax at your own leisure as you enjoy activities in the Camps program for the day. Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve Full Day
On this second day in the Mara you shall have an early wake-up call at around 0600hrs and get ready in warm clothes for the morning game drive. You shall take some coffee and biscuits at the Lobby before boarding your vehicles and set out for the game drive at 0630hrs. The morning game drive is the most exciting game drives not to be missed and as lots of animals are to be seen on the Mara Plains in the morning. (Option of Hot Air Balloon Ride at extra cost) You get back to the lodge for your breakfast. The rest of mid-morning is at leisure with a number of optional activities to choose from. An optional visit to Masai Village can be done during this time. You will have lunch at 1300hrs and relax the rest of afternoon away inside the pool or by the pool. At 1600hrs again it is time to depart for another exciting evening game drive. Dinner & Overnight at Camp/Lodge

Day 5: Masai Mara- Lake Naivasha
On this day you prepare to depart Masai Mara after breakfast. You drive through Narok town past Mai Mahiu town to Lake Naivasha where you arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon you can enjoy a boat ride in the Lake Naivasha. The Lake itself is a fresh water lake with abundance of birdlife and beautiful scenery of surrounding mountains. The trees along the shore line are home to variety of bird species such as fish eagles and kingfishers which are seen darting into the waters for their papyrus perches while the Marabou storks march along the shoreline. The trees are also home to the colombus monkeys. At night be careful to come across grazing hippos from the lake.You can also visit to the Crescent Island Game Sanctuary which is private game Sanctuary with wildlife. Later in the evening have dinner at the lodge and rest of evening at leisure and enjoy the Lodge’s entertainment program for the day. Dinner & Overnight at selected Camp/Lodge

Day 6: Lake Naivasha- Amboseli National Park
On this day we wake up early for breakfast and depart Lake Naivasha. We cross from one side of Kenya past Nairobi and proceed further down to the Amboseli National Park which is known for its elephant population which include the tusked bulls.  A major attraction is Mt Kilimanajaro, Africa’s highest mountain. You arrive on a late lunch before proceeding for an evening game drive. Drive back to the Lodge and freshen up and will have dinner. You relax at leisure for rest of evening after dinner as you enjoy the Lodge’s entertainment as per the day’s program. Dinner & Overnight at selected Camp/ Lodge

Day 7: Amboseli National Park- Tsavo West National Park
On this day you wake up early and dress warm and have a cup of coffee and proceed for another exciting game drive. You cannot afford to miss seeing the early morning light the Africa largest Mt Kilimanjaro turned into a dark hue of purple and its snow into an ethereal pink. The sight of the mountain high above the herds of elephant crossing the Amboseli plains is a timeless African image. Drive back at the lodge for breakfast before departing with lunch boxes for the nearby Tsavo West National Park, one of the twin parks that form one of the largest African wilderness reserves. It is painted on a sprawling canvas of endless skies, emerald hills, liquid lava flows, palm-fringed rivers, teeming wildlife and sparkling oases, set against the unforgettable backdrop of mile upon mile cloud-shadowed African savannah. You arrive in Tsavo in the afternoon and you will have your game drive en-route to the Lodge. You check in at your Lodge in the evening and freshen ready for dinner. Day 8: Tsavo West Park- Flight to Mombasa
Flight to the coast and beach time holidays. After the loong flight to kenya and a number of days on transverse across the country’s game parks and reserves, nothing can be more fascinating than washing off the safari dust in the ocean waters. This morning we say good bye to the Tsavo after a morning game drive and breakfast. We head further down to the Coast of Kenya. We drive through Mombasa Island over the Nyali Bridge to the North Coast. You will check in the hotel which has a very beautiful beach and view of the sea. The Indian Ocean Coast line is a glorious ribbon of silver and sapphire, bright coral and white beaches.
The unique Swahili culture, a fusion of the many influences of early times in the Coast has created a pace of life, myth, heritage and magic not found anywhere else in the world. The waving palms, white-walled mosques, black-veiled women, fleet of dhows harnessing the trade-winds enchant and fascinate the Swahili coast. You spend the rest of the day at leisure and you can try finish reading the book that you always wanted to read but had no time back home by the pool side. You will occasionally dip yourself in to the pool to cool off the hot temperatures and the Indian ocean breeze will cool it off. Have dinner at the Hotel and rest of the evening at leisure. Day 9 and 10: Mombasa
Time to relax on the beach. Breakfast at leisure between 0700hrs -1000hrs, Take it slow again on this day be relaxing in the pool, play some beach football or volleyball or a water sport like kite surfing, dhow cruise among others. You can also opt for a visit to Mombasa Town with a visit to Fort Jesus. Dinner at the Hotel Overnight at Beach Hotel requested

Day 11: Transfer to the requested airport of departure
Last day our driver takes you to the airport. It is the last day of the long trip. After having washed off the safari dust in the Indian Ocean waters it will be time to say good bye to Kenya.
After breakfast you pack your bags. Depending on the flight timings you shall be transferred to the Moi International Airport Mombasa for a flight to Nairobi and connect your flight back home.
