4 Days 3 Nights Amboseli & Tsavo West National Park


A combination of these two destinations starting from Amboseli with great views of Mount Kilimanjaro and a visit to Tsavo West a "Land of Lava, springs and Man-eaters" Tsavo West National park is located on south eastern Kenya, 240km from Nairobi along the western side of Mombasa-Nairobi highway. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges. Major wildlife attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Day 1: NAIROBI – AMBOSELI.
You will be met by Traveller’s Square Tours representative for a complete safari briefing later depart to Amboseli. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge; later proceed for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli National Reserve is renowned for its huge herds of free ranging elephant.

Day 2: AMBOSELI
Early morning breakfast at the lodge. Enjoy a full game drive in the park exploring some of the birdlife and wildlife found in the park. The African elephant and the Amboseli bull elephants have some of the largest tusks of all elephants on Africa, its located at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, its small size and its fragile ecosystem supports a wide range of mammals, well over 50 of the larger species, and birds with over 400 species, The snows of Mount Kilimanjaro, white and crystalline, form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most spectacular displays of wildlife –Girraffes, lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and hosts of plains' game, creating Kenya's most sought after photographer's parades. Day 3 : TSAVO WEST
After an early morning breakfast depart to Tsavo west National park and explore some of the birdlife and wildlife found in the park. Most common wildlife includes: leopard, cheetah, buffalo, rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, plains game, crocodile and small mammals including mongoose, hyrax, dik dik and the nocturnal procupine. It is an excellent park for visitors who enjoy walking, offering a number of nature trails and the opportunity to explore the Chaimu volcanic crater and guides are available. Mzima Springs is a star attraction, a series of four natural springs; Mzima is one of Tsavo's most popular wildlife attractions owing to its large populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles. Day 4: DEPART
After breakfast enroute game drives as you depart back to Nairobi and be dropped at your place of interest.
