|Each day at dawn over the Serengeti Plains, a fortunate few enjoy the ultimate Safari Experience. Travelers can’t be expected to make decisions about magical adventures without all of the facts, right? Of course they can’t. So, let’s examine them together. As the sun rises over the horizon so do hot air balloons and their enthralled passengers also rise? The view is so different from up here. Sometimes so high we can see for a hundred miles in every direction. We pass directly over a vultures nest in an acacia tortilis. We float silently over the river. Hippos snort and yawn . We see giraffe, waterbuck, buffalo, topi and other antelope from an entirely new perspective. Balloon and reserve. A balloon ride over the Serengeti is a surreal experience. Travelers are afforded the opportunity to view the African landscape and her mesmerizing beauty from a truly unique perspective.||

Day 3: Serengeti Balloon Safari
On day three, you will be picked at 5:00 am, from your camp/ lodge, and transferred to the launch site near Maasai Kopjes. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon.
At dawn you take off, rising as the sun rises and float in whichever direction the winds of the morning take us. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon: sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife below. At other times he will ascend to 1000' or more to see the enormity and wonderful panorama of the Serengeti. From time to time the pilot must put more heat into the balloon with the powerful whisper burners. In between these burns, there is silence apart from the natural sounds below.
The flight is for about one hour depending on conditions, and eventually you must land. You celebrate in the traditional manner with champagne (well, an excellent sparkling wine) before sitting down to a full English breakfast prepared and served in the bush in 'Out of Africa' style with bone china, linen table cloths, King's silver etc.
After breakfast you receive your Balloon certificate and driven back to the camp/ lodge. Mid-day relaxation at the lodge, after lunch you will proceed for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at the camp/ lodge: Full board
Day 4: Departure
