4 Days 3 Nights Gorilla Safari and Lake Mburo National Park

Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah National Parks. It is known for sculptured landscape with rolling grassy hills and its idyllic lake shores with a variety of different species of mammals and birds. After Mburo, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a park known as a home of endangered Mountain Gorillas, the most awe-inspiring primates to be found in Africa.

Bwindi Accommodation

Day 1: Travel to Bwindi National Park
After an early breakfast, we pick you at place of your convenience and our safari guide take the first 3-5 min taking you through your safari briefing then you transferred to Bwindi National Park  which is found in the south west of Uganda.  Stopover is at the Equator for photographs. Drive to Mbarara town for a lunch break. After lunch you will proceed with the journey to Bwindi national Park and you will drive through the rolling green hills and highlands of south west Uganda. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp   

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Take your breakfast as early as possible and transfer to the Ranger station for a short briefing in preparation for the day’s highlight exercise. While doing the gorilla trekking, you’re joined with armed ranger guides in the jungle in search for Mountain Gorillas. You trek through the jungle, to track gorillas. The duration it takes to track Gorillas is unknown because the entire process depends on their movements while search for shelter and food. However, it can be predicted to take between 2 - 9 hours. When you finally meet the gorillas, you will have one hour with them and this will enable you to sit down and watch them as they interact with each other, communicate and you are also free to take photographs and Videos. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp  

Day 3: Hit the road to Lake Mburo National Park
You will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park after early morning breakfast at the hotel, lodge or camp site. Our trained guide will drive you through the Kabale region commonly known as “Switzerland of Africa” because of its landscape full of hills and moorland. Take lunch upon reaching in Mbarara town after you enter the park via Nshara gate. Go for Lake Mburo boat cruise immediately you enter the park in search for Hippos, crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp   

Day 4: Game drive and travel back to Kampala
After early morning breakfast, before leaving back to Kampala, you have an opportunity to go for the morning search for animals like Impala, Eland, the herds of Zebra, and other savannah species. Also search for bird species like Papyrus, Bush Shrike African Fin foot. Later hit the road to Kampala with lunch en route at the equator. Drop off at the hotel or drive to the Airport.
