Zanzibar is situated in the Indian Ocean, 36 km off the coastline of mainland Tanzania lies Zanzibar. Zanzibar officially refers to the archipelago that include Unguja and Pemba, surrounded by about 50 smaller ones. Zanzibar is an island state within the United Republic of Tanzania, and has its own semi-autonomous government made up of a Revolutionary Council and House of Representatives. Once the trading centre of the whole of East Africa, Zanzibar attracted Sumerians, Assyrians, Phoenicians, Arabs, Chinese and Malays. The great explorers, Burton, Speke, Livingstone and Krapf continued their journeys from these shores. It is characterized by beautiful sandy beaches with fringing coral reefs, warm clear blue waters, idyllic islands, excellent reefs for snorkelling and diving, fantastic deep sea fishing and water sports activities. The historic Stone Town with its narrow winding streets, vivid markets and colourful bazaars makes for an interesting cultural visit. Commonly known as the "Spice Island"; famous for spices such as cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cardamom, peper and others.
DAY 1: Zanzibar
Arrive Zanzibar airport/harbour transfer to Stone Town Hotel for check-in, later have a trip to prison island tour a home of giant tortoises. Flanged by an amazing beach of reef centuary, the island is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and beach relaxation return to stone town. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: South coast dolphin tour
After breakfast, experience a south coast dolphin tour, dolphin watching tour, a day trip to Kizimkazi, wonderful you may swim with hundreds of spinner & bottle-nose dolphins playing off Kizimkazi beach & give you chance to experience special natural message in the Indian ocean, later proceed to jozani forest tour for red Colobus Monkeys, natural forest, and mangrove forest and the living spieces of fish under nealth. Visit Zala Park to learn on how local people become creative to protect the natural living reptiles, Dinner and overnight at the hotel. .
DAY 3: Stone town tour
After breakfast, stone town tour takes around the historical culture and architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history. It includes a visit to former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit – Al-Ajab), old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian Dispensary (cultural centre) at 2:00pm transfer to North or East coast hotel via Maruhubi Palace ruins, Living Stone House and to the Spice tour on this tour you wil see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation or plots in the island. A variety of spices plants used as ornament, medicines, flowers, fruits an another interesting flora can be seen during spice tour and visit to Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (grand daughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia), Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: Beach Relaxation
Full day beach relax at the hotel dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: Departure
Early morning breakfast, check out and be picked up from the hotel & transferred to the harbour/airport for departure back to your country.
